For anyone looking to increase their vertical jump or improve their physical quickness, The Vertical Project really does seem a little too good to be true.

I remember when I first came across it about 6 months ago. I just flat out didn’t believe the claims. Double your vertical? What if I already had 45 inches? I’d get 90 inches? Get real. I’d like to say the first thing I noticed was me tracking down a loose ball and then flushing it on the other team’s big man, but it was nowhere near as exciting as that. I was just running to catch a bus. I caught it. I wouldn’t have caught it even a few weeks before that point.

But that was months ago. I’ve gained a lot more since then…I’m fully above the rim, and I’m not afraid to throw down…

The Vertical Project - Cons:

No paper version – the program is instantly downloadable as soon as you buy it – yes, it means you get access so you can start right away, but my printer was out of ink the day I bought it. It meant I had to refer to the computer screen each time I wanted to check something or change my UPN. It’s a small problem, but it did bug me.

The Price – To be honest I was a little surprised at the price. I was reluctant to buy it at first, I only got it because of the guarantee and all the success stories. How Does The Vertical Project Work?

But how does it work?

Traditional vertical leap training and other techniques to improve your vertical jump rely solely on one thing – putting your “jumping” muscles under increased stress, causing them to grow to compensate, which in turn causes you to be able to jump higher.
